Well this is my first official Blog Post. I have never done this but have many friends that do this. Thought it might be fun to try it out. So forgive me if I not sure how to do this or update often. Once I get fully into it watch out.
As many of you know we are expecting our first born child in the Spring of 2012! We are very excited about it and went ahead and found out the sex of the baby and it is a GIRL! I pretty much pushed to find out the gender, Mike wanted to wait. I have been gathering items up for her and was told to stop. I was always told you can never have enough items for your baby but I guess our family and friends think we have enough. We only have the crib, bedding, some of my baby blankets that my mom held on for me and some clothing. Not much, plenty more we still need.
One of the things that once I found out we were expecting I wanted to pick out my Baby bag. I have became very picky about my handbags since I have worked with them for awhile. I want something good, that I can use for a ling time and looks like a bag and is not a cheap Wal-Mart baby bag. (Sorry if you think I am going to far with knocking Wal-Mart bags) Every year I normally get some birthday money so this year I put it towards my baby bag. No it is not a Coach monogram bag, please what do you think I am. I think Coach bags are nice, but the monogram C bags are everywhere. The bag I found is a Marc Jacobs tote. I love it! So ready to use it. Mike on the other hand has made fun of this bag since I shown him that is what I waned. See I am a bargain hunter, I shop clearance racks, use coupons, and save for what I want. The bag was about $300, but with my bday money, coupons, discounts, I only paid like 60 to 70 for it. For a Marc Jacobs bag that is one hell of a deal. Yes I know it will carry diapers, and what not, but when I have it, my purse will be at home, No need for multiple bags. If you ask Mike he says it is the Bag that will carry the Bag that has the diapers. Go figure, Men! He spent his money on computers, computer parts, and spent plenty on his car stereos back in the day so he cannot say to much about me buying one bag that I did not pay much for. Enough about the bag.
This week I have my next Dr appt, pretty sure I have my blood sugar test coming up and I am totally scared for that one. Last thing I want to do is drink that nasty stuff. Oh well apart of the pregnancy. Scared to weigh in, esp after Thanksgiving. Who goes and weighs in after Thanksgiving. No one, but this girl. Plus note is that Thanksgiving weekend I was told by a couple people I looked good. Made this six month pregnant girl feel good. I am still wearing pre pregnancy pants and some shirts. But will most likely be ordering maternity pants this week. Pants are getting a little tight. The first thing to go in my clothing was the bras, then the shirts, now the pants. Boy I hope I loose the weight quick!
Well I think this enough to post for the first time and for tonight. Dogs are ready to go out, and I am thinking it is time for me to hit the sack! Goodnight!
